Mystery Image

The Mystery Image Block for Gutenberg allows you to display a new image each time the page is loaded, adding an element of surprise and freshness to your website. It’s a simple yet engaging way to keep content dynamic and interactive for your visitors. The block also includes lightbox support, so users can view images in a larger format with ease. This block is available for free, making it a great addition to any WordPress site.

Adding the block

To add the block:

  1. Click the “+” button to add a new block.
  2. Search for “Mystery Image” and select it.

General options

Add Images – After inserting the block, you can upload or select multiple images. Each time the page loads, a random image will be displayed from the set of added images.

Enable Lightbox – Toggle this option to allow the image to open in a lightbox when clicked.

Design options

Enable Overlay – Toggle this option to add an overlay effect on the image.

Overlay Background Color – Choose a background color for the overlay.

Icon Size (px) – Set the size of the overlay icon in pixels.

Overlay Icon Color – Pick a color for the overlay icon.

Overlay Icon – Select the icon that will appear on the overlay.

Lightbox Background Color – Choose a background color for the lightbox when the image opens.

Close Icon Color – Set the color for the close icon in the lightbox.
