Built on a Strict theme.json Architecture
- Most block themes either bundle Google Fonts (slow, GDPR-fragile) or leave you to configure everything yourself. Canvas does neither.
- By default, the theme loads with the system font stack. Zero font requests. Instant first paint. When you want curated typography, activate any of the 10 presets with one click and only that preset’s two fonts download to the visitor’s browser. Conditional loading keeps it fast.
- The same approach runs through the rest of the theme. Every visual decision lives in theme.json instead of scattered across CSS files, so swapping between the 16 style variations is instant and predictable. No leftover styling, no compounding overrides, no fight with page builders.
